Cottages near Colchester Zoo
Once a Dairy Farm in the early 1900’s, Brook Farm is now a small agricultural holding of 20 acres, laid mostly to pasture, that is home to our small herd of horses, pet sheep and other animals. The babbling brook, two ponds and wooded areas make it a haven for wildlife. Hare, Game Birds and Muntjac deer are just some of our regular visitors.
Cyclists and walkers will love exploring the plentiful tracks and footpaths in and around the farm. While the tranquil surroundings also make it the ideal place to practise yoga or meditation. Artists will also find inspiration in the stunning countryside and will never be short of things to paint or draw.
Our accommodation of three cottages have a range of facilities and are positioned in a courtyard. Each has its own small private patio/garden, and there is plenty of parking.
